I think the treble clef is one of the most beaufiful symbols created,

ever :)

it takes years of practice to draw a perfect one. you have to do it in one stroke, it's not like chinese characters, you cant pause. i took 15 years, and it can still go a bit out of shape sometimes. haha

so cute.. ytd my parents went to 关帝庙 to ask for blessings for my papers.

and they associate my lack-of-nervousness today with their prayers.

the way it works is sth like they'll write ur name on a lantern, which will be hung in the temple and is being 'looked after' by 文昌神, who is believed to be the one taking care of academic matters. i went to google 'him' out:

今天是daddy生日

像往年一样打电话回家说声生日快乐

他还是像往年一样，只会回答，哈哈你记得我生日啊？

想一想，原来已经8年没跟他们过生日了
说不遗憾是骗人的

但是在哪一个日子庆祝，真的重要吗？

未必

我每次都对自己说，重要的是，回到家中，多陪他们，关心他们，这样对他们对我来说就很够了。

说了8年的生日快乐，也就等于爸爸老了8年

人生有多少个8年？
